Well I woke up today and the stain was still on the carpet. Now that I mentioned all that information about the carpet stain solutions to my wife she actually expects me to do something about that problem.
Note to self, again, sometimes its easier just to shut your mouth and keep a nice smirk on your face.
So I started again to look into the whole carpet dyeing solutions. Although I don’t have a big rug the spot is kind of visible from anywhere in the room, as the wife pointed out at least three times this morning.
Even with some more strategically placed furniture the stain was still visible. I don’t really need to work on the whole rug. The cats seemed to prefer to puke in one spot. You’d think that maybe they’d avoid the same spot but I think they know that when I walk towards the couch I’d step in that exact spot. So they made sure I was stepping in cat puke after time I walked towards the couch. I guess they aren’t that stupid just plan evil.
So I don’t need to purchase a huge bucket of carpet cleaner. I just to find the right carpet spot dye kit. I just have to match the colour and go.
But wait whats the voice from the background? Is it some well seasoned carpet cleaning professional providing me with some priceless advice. Maybe some helpful hints that will make the whole process simple and painless.
Well no its the matrimonial peanut gallery wondering about the smell of these different carpet cleaning chemicals that we’re looking at using. Will they make the house a toxic wasteland that will make Love Canal look like a recreational swimming pool? I told her everything would be fine as long as she didn’t try chugging the mixture. One smack on the back on the head coming my way!
