I was looking to get away for a different type of vacation. While most people might think of sand and surf I was thinking nice quiet roads and some hills.
The years and the bags of chips have caught up to me and I’ve started to ride my bike again. I was looking at finding some place to escape and ride some easy miles. Than I remembered that George Hincapie keeps talking about how great it is to live in Greenville, South Carolina. Its not that far of a drive so I searched for some details.
The whole area around Greenville is incredible for bicycle riding. Heck even the Greenville SC Real Estate is still affordable. I started to think that Hincapie might actually be on to something.
That might be the ideal part time job. Find a cheap place to buy in Greenville and rent it out to other cyclists you want to be pros like Hincapie. The sale pitch would be if Greenville is good enough for Hincapie its good enough for you. The housing prices in the Greenville SC Real Estate market are not that crazy like some of the smaller towns in the North East US. It wouldn’t take much to cover the cost of the old mortgage every month. I’d just need to make sure I wouldn’t need to spend several thousands upgrading the place after I purchase it.
First thing to check would be the hot water heater. After any ride everyone heads to the showers so you need some reliable hot water. That would make for an unusually opening question when I’d be inspecting any home in the Greenville SC Real Estate area. I don’t care if the schools are good just tell me about the hot water heater. Does it need to be replaced?
